The day is nigh, Venus is coming (ominous Ned Stark voice). Get your binoculars ready, your pin holes pricked and your cameras clicking. The Transit of Venus (or Aphrodite’s Eclipse as I like to call it) is happening tomorrow and, assuming that cryogenics remains financially nonviable for most people, it’s the last opportunity you will have to see her. Read all about why it’s actually pretty cool and about the scientists who tried and failed to pursue it.
Let us know if you’re planning on viewing the Transit of Venus and anything else Venus related. I leave you now with the first OSOS meme. We are kicking it Gen Y style today.
